You may include an artists statement or biography of up to 1,000 words.

An optional artists image or logo may be displayed with your statement.
This image is in addition to the art images that are included
with your plan.

Artist must supply titles, sizes and media for each piece, as well as pricing
if artwork is for sale.

If you wish to sell your art you must provide contact information. Otherwise
contact information is optional. Canadian-Artist.com does not transact
sales or purchases.

Members agree to display a minimum of four images of their artwork on their
gallery page.

Canadian-Artist.com will provide thumbnail (small image) previews of all
images for fast preview and page loading.

Full size images will be JPEG format and sized as large as possible to
fit within a reasonable storage limit per image (typically 500 to 700 pixel
image size).

With the self-serve control panel may replace images and update your page
as often as you wish.
Our picture scanning and update service is available for $8 per image.
A stamped self-addressed envelope must be included with your photographs
if you wish to have them returned.

Canadian-Artist.com reserves the right to refuse the display of inappropriate
or morally objectionable material on it's site.

Artists must be 16 years of age or over to join Canadian-Artist.com.

All setup scanning fees and current months subscription payment is non-refundable
upon cancellation.

Members grant Canadian-Artist.com permission to scan and digitally modify
for display purposes the artwork or reproductions thereof.

Members grant Canadian-Artist.com permission to make these digital reproductions
available on the Internet for public viewing.

Members grant permission to Internet users to copy these digital reproductions
by downloading into an appropriate Internet web browser for the sole purpose
of viewing and display on their computer. No other permissions beyond this
are granted and all original copyrights are retained by the artist.

Members warrant that they are the sole copyright owners for the works provided.

Canadian-Artist.com agrees to setup and maintain the artists web page and
make it available from the Internet under the Canadian-Artist.com domain or
the domain specified at your time of registration.

Use of the Canadian-Artist.com web space for non-art related purposes or for
advertising third party products is strictly forbidden and will result in
cancellation of your account. Similarly, attempts to disrupt the operation
of the site or to interfere with other members use of the site will result
in cancellation of service.

Members are aware that due to the colour gamut limitations of computer
display monitors, as well as the loss of image quality resulting from the
use of JPEG image compression, as well as the potential loss of quality
from the photographing process, that the images displayed will only approximately
represent the original artwork. Canadian-Artist.com will make every reasonable
effort to ensure that the resulting display quality is as high as possible
under the conditions available.

Members agree to indemnify and hold Canadian-Artist.com Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates,
officers, or other partners, harmless from any claim or demand,
made by any third party due to or arising out of your content,
or your use of the services.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell and/or resell the
services provided by Canadian-Artist.com and its affiliate sites.

Canadian-Artist.com reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify
or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the services (or any part thereof)
with or without notice. You agree that Canadian-Artist.com shall not be liable
to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the services.
Canadian-Artist.com will make every reasonable effort to minimize and avoid disruptions
of services and to provide notice of any known service interruptions.

You agree that Canadian-Artist.com, at its sole discretion, may terminate your password,
web pages, use of the services or use of any other Canadian-Artist.com service,
and remove and discard any content within the services if Canadian-Artist.com believes
that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the
Terms & Conditions of membership.
Further, you agree that Canadian-Artist.com shall not be liable to you or any
third-party for any termination of your access to the Service.

You acknowledge and agree that the services and any necessary software used in
connection with the services contain proprietary and confidential information
that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.
Except as expressly authorized by Canadian-Artist.com you agree not to modify, rent,
lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on the service or the software,
in whole or in part.

Canadian-Artist.com grants you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right and
license to access and use its software and services on a single computer;
provided that you do not (and do not allow any third party to) copy, modify, create
a derivative work of, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to discover
any source code, sell, assign, sublicense, grant a security interest in or otherwise
transfer any right in the software and services.
You agree not to modify the software in any manner or form, or to use modified versions
of the software, including for the purpose of obtaining unauthorized access to the services.
You agree not to access the services by any means other than through the interface
that is provided by Canadian-Artist.com for use in accessing the services.

Members expressly understand and agree that your use of the service is at your sole risk
and that the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Canadian-Artist.com expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind,
whether expressed or implied, including, but not limited to implied warranties
of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Canadian-Artist.com makes no warranty that the service will meet your requirements,
nor that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Members agree that Canadian-Artist.com shall not be liable for any direct, indirect,
incidental, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to,
damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data or other intangible losses, resulting from
the use of or the inability to use the service.

Cheques returned due to non-sufficient funds (NSF) will result in a $45
processing fee being added to your account.
